As we all know, Facebook is one of, if not, the largest social networks on the planet. As I have mentioned before, there are currently over 110 million active users on facebook. Alexa has ranked Facebook as a traffic ranking of 5! That means that Facebook is the fifth most visited website on the entire internet. Wow. Along with that popularity comes an advantage for us, the members, to make money on facebook. It is no surprise then that thousands of people are currently making money on facebook on a daily basis. There are multiple ways to make money on Facebook which include: - Scrath eBay and sell your stuff on the Facebook marketplace
- Develop a popular application (very expensive)
- Promote an affiliate website by posting the link on your profile
- Use simple marketing techniques that will help you take advantage of facebook's popularity
I have personally met and interviewed people that claim to make anywhere from $500 to $1000 a week on facebook! Although the average person that makes money on facebook currently brings in about $200 per week. Not bad though, for just spending a little time marketing. The secret that I have found to really make money on facebook comes from a guy that calls himself "the FacebookMoneyMaker", and he claims to pull in anywhere from $700 to $1000 per week! His guide is a fairly small investment of $19.99, but really is the best value that I have seen that teaches people to make money on facebook. It really is so simple and I am not sure why more people have not been utilizing his techniques.
The major advantage to moving your online money making ventures to Facebook is simply the sheer size and popularity of Facebook. It is by far the fastest growing market on the internet. I highly recommend giving it a shot. I just started my campaigns and am already seeing great results. I have not quite met that $200/week mark yet, but I did make nearly $75 bucks for about an hours worth of "work". Not at the moment, but I am definitly jumping on the bandwagon while the trend is just getting started.

Another fact is that although Facebook experiences astronomical growth, it really is not making all that much money comapared to other networks like MySpace. You know why? Because Facebook sticks to its roots. It started out as a simple networking site and arguably has remained simple. 
Founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is adamant about the fact that Facebook is not searching for profits at the moment, it is searching for growth. And that is exactly what it is getting. The profits will come. Zuckerberg has been offered large sums of money to sell the largly unprofitable site many times, but he will not concede. Good for him. He has patience and is a true entrepreneur. He knows that he has a gold mine that is yet to be tapped.
Facebook members currently make up 7.5% of the global internet population which means there is plenty of room for growth. That gold mine is going to continue to grow and when it finally wants to be mined, you can look for Mark Zuckerberg to be in the top 10 most richest people in the world. He is only 24 and already is worth about 3 billion by some peoples estimates. I predict that he will be in the top 10 before he is 30. Mark my words.
Although, Facebook is currently not making the fortune that it is truly worth, its members can make a small fortune of their own. Of course people have been utilizing the power of social media to make money for a little while, but Facebook is different. Facebook marketing is widely untapped and with the continued growth that Facebook receives, the market is only growing. I have researched many people that make money on Facebook and have found that some are doing suprisingly well and have some really simple techniques that anyone can implement with a little time and effort.
